How to Reset Airtel Digital TV (ADTV), Tata Sky DTH and Videocon D2H Universal Remote to Factory Settings?

Once you program your DTH universal remote with your TV set, you can operate both set top box and your TV using a single universal remote.

But sometimes you may need to reset your DTH universal remote to factory settings. For example your TV set doesn't function properly using universal remote or you want to use your universal remote buttons to operate the set top box only.
This tutorial will help you in restoring default functionality of your DTH universal remote. Once you reset universal remote, you can reprogram it with any desired TV set in future.

So without wasting time lets start the tutorial:

Tata Sky DTH Universal Remote Factory Reset Process

1. Press and hold Select and Blue buttons on your Tata Sky universal remote for a few seconds. The LED will blink twice.
NOTE: In newer set top boxes, you may need to press and hold Back and Blue buttons on your Tata Sky universal remote.
2. Release the buttons and press number buttons 6, 8 and 0 one by one quickly.
3. The LED will again blink twice and it'll reset the universal remote to factory settings.

Airtel Digital TV DTH Universal Remote Factory Reset Process

1. Press and hold OK and Red buttons on your ADTV universal remote for a few seconds. The LED will blink twice.
2. Release the buttons and press number buttons 9, 8 and 0 one by one quickly.
3. The LED will again blink twice and it'll reset the universal remote to factory settings.

Videocon D2H Universal Remote Factory Reset Process

1. Press and hold OK and number 1 button on your Videocon D2H universal remote for a few seconds. It'll reset the universal remote to factory settings.
That's it. You have successfully removed all stored settings from your DTH universal remote. You can reprogram the remote with the same or a new TV set any time in future.
